Inspired Home’s prime goal is to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction period. Not only from a product development point of view but the way operations and doing business day-today, we believe should be smooth, efficient and systematized so we can get back to doing what we love, Inspire the world with beautiful furniture! So there's no hidden terms or sneaky fees we just want to make working with us as easy as can be.

PAYMENT TERMS

Upon credit approval, terms for all orders are Net 30 (due 30 days after shipment) or Net CBD (cash before delivery). Pre-payment is required for all new accounts, and we accept all major credit cards, company check or wire transfer. Need a custom solution? Let’s talk about it.

SHIPPING – LOGISTICS

We’ll handle all logistics for delivery for all orders exceeding $550 unless you prefer to handle those details independently. For orders under $550, we won’t handle logistics and dealers must provide us a BOL or FedEx label. Unlike the protection of our own arranged logistics, when Dealers handle their own we won’t negotiate freight or be responsible for associated costs or damages.

Every order leaves Inspired Home guaranteed to be in good condition. We check it, check it a second time, and have made packing for shipment our highest logistical priority. After leaving our facility, claims for any damages that may have occurred during shipping should be filed with the carrier.

Unless a specific freight carrier is noted on the purchase order, we’ll choose the carrier at our discretion. We strongly advise that all shortages and or damages be noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery. If not noted, you’ll be responsible for repairs and/or replacements.

We’re happy to help with this throughout the continental United States. Just give us the details and we’ll get it where it needs to go, safely, securely and with warehouses on both coasts, faster.

PARTS AVAILABILITY

Everything we build reflects our pride, attention to production detail, insistence on the highest quality materials, packaging that sets a higher industry standard and commitment to customer satisfaction. But things happen, and from a chair leg to hardware, if you need something we’re here to help. Parts will be on their way in a hurry and at absolutely no cost.

SAMPLE SWATCHES

Swatches are readily available for most iof our products. If they help you make a sale, just ask and we’ll ship them at no cost to any address in the continental United States.

RETURNS, CLAIMS and EXCHANGES

No one in the industry works harder to ensure your order ships and arrives in good condition – you’ll it see it in packing materials exceeding the industry standard. All our products are shipped in 275 PSI cartons – even our sofas – and we only work with approved carriers that handle our furniture to our exacting demands. Still, things can happen and here’s what we suggest.

Inspect all merchandise at the time of arrival, note all damages including what might be concealed damages, and do it before signing the delivery receipt. If merchandise arrives damaged, contact us and provide pictures and details in writing. Damages that are not reported may limit our ability to assist you with later claims and we want to help you avoid that.

Defective merchandise must be returned in the original packing material. Damages that occur at the end user's location require the end-user to assume responsibility to keep all of the packaging materials, provide necessary claim forms, and prepare the merchandise for pick-up. We’ll happily replace defective merchandise but, sorry, Inspired Home cannot accept buyer’s remorse returns.

CANCELLATIONS

We accept order cancellations that are made before an order ships.

PALLET OPTIONS

Choose from standard pallet fees of $10 per pallet, or if requested by the Dealer, double-pallets at $15 per pallet. Both options include strapping and all that’s required for safe, secure transit. .

WARRANTY

With proper care, Our Products will be enjoyed for years. When used for normal residential purposes, we warrant everything we build to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of delivery to the consumer. We are not responsible for any incidental or consequential damage.

Right to Repair:If damage or defect is deemed repairable, the dealer is responsible to make every reasonable effort to repair the item before a replacement or credit is issued. For repairs covered under our warranty, Inspired Home will pay up to thirty percent of the item’s original cost. Only when an item is deemed to not be repairable is a credit or a replacement issued.

Parts:We stock a large variety and when damage is limited to a small area, to resolve the issue and make a customer happy, at our discretion we’ll send the customer a replacement part.

Replacements: If a replacement is deemed necessary, We will provide it at no cost to the Dealer. While not responsible for related freight cost, We will handle of all of the shipping logistics in accordance with our policy.

If the order shows or develops a manufacturer defect after delivery and within the manufacturer’s warranty period, please contact us for assistance.

SETTING UP ORDERS

$2000 MINIMUM ORDER FOR NEW CUSTOMERS.
For first-time customers, $1500 order is the mandatory minimum opening order, no exceptions. Minimum order in Canada is $3,000 USD. We are a wholesale company selling “to the trade” only. It is required that you supply Inspired Home with a copy of your Sales & Use Tax Certificate and that you complete our New Account Application.

$500 REORDER MINIMUM FOR EXISTING CUSTOMERS.

For existing customers, $500 is the reorder minimum. Requests for below minimum orders will be accepted only when paid by credit card. A “below minimum” fee of $20.00 applies to all orders below $500 or back orders below $250, and actual freight charges apply.

BACKORDERS:

Backorders below $150 will be cancelled unless otherwise requested by customer in which case, actual freight charges apply plus a $20.00 handling fee.

PALLET CHARGE:

$7.00 single pallet, $15.00 double pallet.

ASSESSORIAL DELIVERY FEES:

When applicable, the truckline will charge for the shipping services listed below and we will invoice you separately for these charges. If you advise us when placing your order that you require additional shipping services, We will prepay and include charges on your original invoice. If you do not advise us and you use these services, an invoice for these services will be sent at a later date and will not be included with your original invoice.

APPOINTMENT DELIVERY:

$15.00 charge when driver must deliver at a specific time.

INSIDE DELIVERY:

$50.00 charge when driver must bring shipment inside any structure.

LIFT GATE DELIVERY:

$25.00 charge when no loading dock is available and a lift is required to remove pallet from truck.

RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY:

$27.00 charge.

HIGH-COST DELIVERY:

$75 charge for delivery to construction site, farm or when a ferry trip is required.

RECONSIGNMENT/REDELIVERY:

$65.00 charge when no one is available to accept delivery during normal business hours or customer requests shipment to be sent to another location.

TERMS:

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, a 3% charge will apply for all Credit Card Payments. Credit card orders are pre-authorized for the entire order amount plus approximately 18% freight when the order is released to the warehouse. The credit card is actually billed only on the day of shipment and only for products shipped. Net 30 payment terms are available upon credit approval. Payment on Net 30 invoices must be made by check and mailed to our NY office, Payment is due within 30 days of Inspired Home ship date.

INTERNATIONAL TERMS:

International orders must be paid by credit card or wire transfer in US currency prior to shipping.

DISCOUNTS:

FAILURE TO PAY IN FULL WITHIN THE TERMS OF AN INVOICE WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF ANY AND ALL DISCOUNTS. A REVISED INVOICE WILL BE ISSUED AT THE FULL PRICE.

RUSH SERVICE:

We understand you may have situations that require expedited service; therefore, we offer a Rush Service. We can ship your order within 3 business days for a $25.00 upcharge. This does not include time to process credit or the travel time to you. We will do our best to meet your request but it is not guaranteed. Please phone Customer Service to request Rush Service.

PRICES: 

All prices are wholesale and are coded in our catalogs within the item number so you may show our catalog to your customers. The price is listed after the forward slash (/).

REFUSED SHIPMENTS:

All refused shipments are subject to a 30% restocking charge and freight charges both ways.

ORDER CANCELLATION:

Orders are not considered cancelled unless we receive written notice ten (10) business days prior to ship date.

RETURNING MERCHANDISE:

Contact Inspired Home Customer Service at 646-545-4019 before returning merchandise to our Distribution Center. You MUST advise Inspired Home within 10 days of receipt of merchandise to report damages, quality problems, or any other dissatisfaction. Unauthorized returns will be refused at our docks and returned to the sender. Returned merchandise will be subject to a 30% restocking fee and freight charges both ways. 

ACCOUNT PAYMENTS

Inspired Home Decor, LLC, customers agree to pay all charges incurred for goods and services supplied, and all charges incurred must be paid according to the credit terms on our invoices or, if none appear, according to terms of Net 30. Payments not made by said date or earlier, shall render the account delinquent, and interest shall be charged at the rate of 2% per month or 24% per year. Customer(s) further agree to pay all reasonable collection costs, attorney fees and court costs, as permitted by law, as such are incurred by Inspired Home Decor, LLC, in the collection of amounts due. In the event a suit is filed to enforce payment, it is agreed the venue will be New York, NY Also, Inspired Home Decor, LLC shall have the right to withhold further deliveries and/or sales to the Customer(s) until past due balances are brought current, and shall have no liability whatsoever, from any direct or indirect loss suffered by the Customer(s) in such event.

Inspired Home Decor, LLC is also the owner of all copyright in its Catalogue, including all photographs, product descriptions, designs and images which are displayed in the Catalogue. No part of this Catalogue, or any photograph, product description, design or image contained in this Catalogue, may be reproduced, transmitted or otherwise used in whole or in part in any form or by any means without the prior written consent of Inspired Home Decor, LLC All rights reserved. In particular, Inspired Home reserves all of its rights to take all necessary steps to protect its intellectual property rights, including commencing a legal action claiming all available remedies at law and in equity, including, damages (including statutory damages of up to $20,000 per copyright infringement), an accounting of an infringer’s profits, an injunction to prevent ongoing unauthorized activities, and an order for delivery up and destruction of all infringing materials.
